A versão 8 do sistema operacional, que deve chegar ao mercado até o fim do ano, terá uma nova interface baseada em "tiles", ou quadradinhos - algo próximo ao que já se vê na versão móvel do OS. E o novo logo remete à essa nova cara. "O Windows 8 nasceu de uma completa reimaginação do sistema operacional. Nada ficou de fora, nem mesmo o logotipo", afirmou Sam Moreau, diretor de experiência do usuário, em um post no blog oficial da Microsoft. Enquanto antes, o logotipo do Windows era baseado em uma janela com efeito ondulado e 4 cores diferentes, ele agora mostra um desenho muito mais simples. São 4 quadrados azuis, que remetem às "tiles", divididos por linhas brancas. A nova marca foi criada pela agência americana Pentagram. E podemos dizer que feio não estar, melhor que o anterior, pode ser, mas achei meio sem graça, porém mais simples.
